The LTD plate mount fits, however the mud flap cover does not fit. Their plate kits will be done i believe next week or the following. I was told May 2nd so hopefully should see it soon. I do know a member here has the plate mount on his bike and it fit so if you just cant wait you can get the 07. Only speaking for the LTD kit though, i dont know about their other kit.

FACT: Prior year "fender eliminator" kits will not work on the new K8 models.

Genuine Suzuki Accessories is in the process of developing a K8 "fender eliminator" that will soon be available for purchase through your local authorized Suzuki dealership. Our kit will be street-legal as it retains placement of the factory license plate light and reflector in accordance with government regulations.

Yes, the Competition Werkes LTD kit fits perfectly. I have it on mine.

In Colorado as long as its 10-12 inches above the ground and is clearly visible on the "back" of the bike, its legal, so the LTD kit with the roller is technically still legal, woo hoo!

To be honest, I think the LTD is only good for light weight people under 160lbs to be honest. Anyone heavier (no offense) will make the suspension compress more and make the plate LESS visible as it faces the plate down more towards the ground.

im 190 so making the plate less visible sounds good to me

Instead of spending 60 bucks on a fender eliminator kit i just bought some L brackets at lowes for like $3 and used them instead, a whole lot cheaper and works just as well

do you need to modify the header it to make it fit? or is it just simple plug & play?

You'll want to get rid of the SET valve/motor and disconnect the o2 sensor (remove a pin from the ECU as well) unless you want to weld a bung to the 06-07 header.

Pretty much just take off the 08 header, and put in the 06-07. Fitment is perfect. Just get an 06-07 slip on and say bye-bye to that ugly cat on the 08.
