Will pulling off the stock damper throw a code? Do I have to do anything with the wire clip other than tape it off?

The computer does preform a check on the damper so it may throw a code if you just pull the wires and tape them.

or you can just unscrew the solonoid off the oem damper and leave that little part plugged in and that will stop the code from being thrown. Normally it takes a special tool to take it off, but you can get it at any hardware store. I'm assuming it's just like the 07 GSXR 1000.
