I need to replace my stator cover (left side engine cover) and was wondering what my options were other that buying the factory replacement. I know LP makes a cover that's carbon fiber, but I believe that's just it....a cover that goes over the original cover. Graves makes an aluminum one but it's the same price as an original. Anyone know of anyone else that makes em...I'm planning on buying from Ron Ayers tommorow (original oem replacement) if I can't find anything else.

woodcraft makes them too.
Try a seach for "stator" or "case" or "case cover" in general hardware....i remember Fleshy piping in about some covers.

I think you can get the NRC hardened cover from www.fastlap.com (http://www.fastlap.com) for around $95

yep i just put a NRC on mine cause of the gashes in my stock one. I didn't want to wait till i dropped it and it actually busted through. I've great things from people about NRC covers so i put one on.
