well i got no complaints rather then how hard my rims will be to clean, so ima try and find a black one and ask them to swap rims and pay for the tyre and bike swap at dealership, which ill get free anyway.

also im coming from a 125, but i find it hard to keep a steedy speed in corners, like 1st gear turning corners im finding it hard to keep a constant speed, it has so much power the sliggest movement and u gain 5mph mid corner on a round about, makes me nervious.. but it was wet, and new tyres so i still gotta wait for good weather to say more.

i like the front headlights, think they look much better then old models, the tail could be more jap and less italian. also think the bike could come with life insurance

Did not like the shifter but since I got my woodcrafts it's golden now.

Bike handled great out of the box but after a few tweaks it absolutely rips now.

I hate that the cat is welded on.

by the shifter you mean the gear thing on left side? it was hard to do in my full suit and oxtar boots, guess im still wearing the boots and suit in..

but its invert to what im used to, im used to the shifter coming from behind, and it comes from the front of the gixxer, i think its harder to use.

what tweaks rraiderr, and also the suspension its adujstable, can somone explain what that means, i heard you can get it adjusted to how much you weigh making it better, or isnt it that advanced, need ohlins for that kinda thing? or will stock do it.

also i think the can is a bit big. oh and it should be on the left side of the bike not the right, why god dam exhaust is on the right.. dam i wish i had a cbr now and had a undertail..

oh, and why are my temprature gage in USA style, i used to like 40 degrees being hot ect. 25 being average. 15 cool 10 chilly 0 freezing.

but my bike is 38 when it turns on then was 91 then was 88, its dam hard to convert, i know miles to km easy, but i never learnt how to do temprature..

whats the ideal temp while rideing? guessing 90 was good? and 38 was dreezing cold

You can change the gauge to Celsius. It tells you how in the book that came with the bike.

Yes you can adjust your suspension. The first thing you want to do is set the sag. You will need a friend to help you and you must do it in full riding gear as it is weight dependent. Here is a link on how to do it. It looks allot harder than it is.

http://www.sportrider.com/tech/146_0308_geek/index.html

Once that is done here is how to dial in your suspension.

http://www.sasbk.co.za/suspension_setup_guidelines.htm

The shifter I was talking about was the gear shifter you use on your foot. It is also adjustable up and down to accommodate your boots, foot size and position. I went with a more solid unit with more adjustability and grip.

Once you get you bike dialed in you can tackle ride height as the 750 can be made to really rail hard compared to stock. But let's save this for later as you should not make too many changes at once as it can have negative side effects.

Yes all this is with the stock suspension.

Good luck.

Bike handles really well out of the crate, I personally expected a bit more out of motor - feels lean till about 6K and then tails off pretty bad around 14K. Takes zero effort to ride it fast, neutral handling and rock solid stable through the turns. Might have to take it along to the track this year and run a couple sessions on it for fun. Suspension feels good, will give it a couple hundred miles to break in before setting sag and the clickers for my weight, brakes feel good - initial bite is not crazy strong but a pair of braided lines will improve the overall feel.

One thing I am amazed about is the bike is actually pretty darn comfortable, I rode about 100 miles on Saturday and was expecting it to be a torture rack.

just cycle to the brightness screen

oooo

and hold both adj and sel (same time) and wait for it to change to metric.

Would be nice if they came out with a Rockstar/Makita/Yosh race replica for the states. I think those would sell really well. I love my all black 750, but the AMA factory bikes at the top of the leaderboard look really nice.

to be honest, i am going to keep the USA system, as its spread out more, i think 40 in metric is like 100 on usa, so with usa you can see the temp change better when ur doing stuff.

but i cant ready my manual, and im not looking at every single page. so what is the idle temp while rideing, what is considerd a warm temp, and you can let the throttle open.

my bike runs 89 temp alot

Only thing thats sucks on my k8 600 are the mirrors, you can't see rock all thats behind you.
My K2 600 mirrors were 100 times better.
Everything else rocks!
