Are these worth getting? I noticed they are relatively inexpensive and was just curious. I like the adjustability feature. Also, can I put my road stuff on the clip on? Meaning is there enough room for the blinker assemblies and such? Thanks.

Because I'm assuming you have actually seen and worked with an aftermarket clip on. I have not. So I don't know if the lengths of the aftermarket clip ons are similar to the stock ones. I don't have enough money for 2 bikes so my track bitch has to pull double duty as a street bike. Therefore I wanted to know what "race stuff" will also work on the street. Tires obviously not being one of them...so I now have extra wheels.

Thanks Wizard. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

the bars come in different lengths; only 'mod' you'll have to do is to drill some holes into the bars to attach your street switches to, and brake fluid reservoir. If your stock stuff isn't broken, I wouldn't get them.

Yeah, you don't have to take off your triple clamp to put em on. Since my vortex clipons are designed to slip over the shock tubes instead of clamp on, I had to take my triple clamp off. Which wasn't really all that big of a deal, but it's nice to know you can replace the woodcraft ones fairly quickly at the track if you need to.

Correct. You will need to pull the triple to take the stock ones off. The benefit for putting aftermarket clipons are they have two pieces and you can replace the tube if they break. Most sit lower for better positioning and are longer to give you more leverage to counter-steer. Make sure you torque the triple I forget the specs but its a 32mm socket and 60lbs i think but make sure you check because its been awhile.
