Just a few pics of my new 600 (this is only a limited edition in the UK), I sold my k2 600 and bought this.
I had a meta alarm & crash bobbins fitted before picking it up.
I've also bought an R&G tail tidy, not had a chance to fit it yet, also not had a chance to fit the tank pad yet.
I've tried getting the warning label off the tank, but only managed to get a little bit off, any ideas on how to remove it peeps?
Does the hair dryer trick work? bit worried about using a hair dryer or heat gun where petrol is concerned !
Anyway excellent bike, will post more pics as soon.
Jury still out with the exhaust, might have to replace it at some stage with a yoshimura!!!

Yes a hairdryer worked for me, wouldn't use a heat gun, they can get way too hot. Just keep the heat on it and take your time.

I think you'll find it is a limited edition 600, only 220 in the UK m8.
They do the 750 and the thou in this colour also, how many, I dont know.
But is definitely a limited edition.
If you have conflicting information I'd like to hear or see it.
Cheers.

why are there only 220 in UK? maybe first shipment, white is a standard k8 color, not limited edition.

and the way your talking, your a rude prick.

Sooooo.... only 220 of this standard color were shipped to the UK so they could screw you on the price claiming they were LE?

You got played m8..... it's the same as every other white 2008 gsxr 600 to come out of Japan

Not trying to be a dick, just stir the pot a little:cheers

There's always one person who spoils a forum, and you numb nut have won it.
You'd be better keeping your mouth shut that way people wouldn't find out you were stupid.
Now stop hijacking my thread, so what if you have so many hundred posts, you have no right to speak to people in that manner, typical ignorant ham shanker.
:flipoff

And check out this link, official Suzuki website, beside the white LTD.
That enough proof for you doubters,

You, my friend, are not going to last long on this forum with that attitude:nono

I joined this forum today, so far I've been abused a couple of times, do you think I'm going to sit back and take it ?
If Mods see this thread by all means delete the rubbish posts, I didnt start the abuse.

So anyway my 600 is a limited edition in the UK, didn't say anything else.
So if you dont have anything nice to say please don't say anything at all.
Good night to you all.:sleep

it says limited, not limited edition, it means in all of UK, they have only imported 220, and more are not due in for some time

nice bike though! :cheers

it says limited, not limited edition

i was gonna point that out but didn't want to be TOO much of a 'wanker'

just means that there are limited numbers available, not that it's a limited edition:cheers

I removed my stickers with a hair dryer, by thumb nail and some goo gone. I had a blister on my thumb when I was done 3 hours later.

yes, all stickers will come off with a dryer, except i dont reccomend using the dryer on your frame,

A. it will take fucking forever, and still prolly not heat up enough to get the sticker off (dont know why it just dosnt work well)

B. if u heat the frame enough to get the sticker off its prolly going to weaken it.

but all other stickers come off plastic no problem

use goo gone.. btw.. how's the light distribution at night? I have an 04 750 and the headlights shine ok.. but I love how they put two high beams on each side of the low beam projector.. I'm assuming that would widen the light distribution for night time driving..

WTF? Have you ever felt the frame of your bike after a ride? It's like a giant heat sink for the motor. It's a lot warmer than a friggin hair dryer will get it too. I would not use a true heat gun but a little heat from a hair dryer will help.

If you meant heat gun then my apologies.

My dealer told me the all black was a limited edition in the US.

hmm... heat treating metal occurs at about 650f to 775f, dont think your average hair dryer is cooking at that temperature ... but then again Im not an expert on hairdryers :shifty

check my thread for pics, if tank pad is the tank sticker grip yeh i got that and a few other things.

hvnt fixed the tail and numberplate bracket, im waiting for a good quality one to come out, that eliminates the bracket, keeping the plate right under your tail but also keeping the number plate light. ill get the brand name from my deliver if u like, not released yet.

also to the people about the hair dryer, i really have no clue, but if my dealership tells me heating the frame with a dryer is bad and could weaken the frame ill take there advise.
