Just picked up my 08 600 today. I already have a DRZ400SM, but this is my first GSXR. It is replacing my 04 zx6r which is being retired as my race bike. I will break her in, and then strip her to put her into race trim. I ordered an Akropovic exhaust, PCIII, BMC filter, and race glass this morning. I will also have 20mm GMD kit installed in the forks, either retro fit my Penske triple or go with the new Ohlins TTX rear shock. Gearing seems tall, so I will go up one in the front, and stock in the rear to start. If anyone needs some street stuff, I will be selling soon since this will be a track only bike. Looking forward to getting to know this new bike on the track.

Sounds like you got it all planed out. I am sure you will have no problem selling the OEM stuff as once summer hits it will be in high demand.

TY for the welcome. I hope to learn a lot from you guys, and will try to give back as much as I can. I will post up a status on the upgrades including a dyno sheet once I get it tuned, and a report on a new race plastics company I am trying out.
