About Us

Bikebolts Sportbike Fasteners was founded in 2005, Bikebolts is a family owned and operated business that was created to offer complete fairing fastening solutions for popular sportbike / café race style motorcycles. Bikebolts is dedicated to providing low cost fastener kits in a high price market. Our kits are designed to make the installation simple with a high quality custom finish. We sell fairing bolt kits and fasteners worldwide, please check out our worldwide sales history map.

Our Kits and Fasteners

Bikebolts Sportbike Fasteners kits are designed as aftermarket replacements for the OEM fairing fasteners. The fasteners are not specifically designed to match the original equipment provided by the manufacture, but rather to replace and / or improve upon the OEM fairing fasteners. The objective in each fastener kit design is to achieve an easy to install, easy to maintain kit that provides a custom look.

There are 2 styles of fairing fastener kits available, COMPLETE and SCREWS ONLY. The SCREWS ONLY kit consists of just the screws and the washers needed to replace the factory screws and washers. The COMPLETE kit includes the screws, washers, speed nuts (as required), well nuts (as required), lock nuts (as required), and push pin rivets (as required).

All of the screws for each kit may be ordered in a variety of unique color options. The color coating is a baked on powder coat enamel (not paint!) that is cured at temperatures ranging from 400°F to 450°F. The coating is extremely resistant to chipping, scratching, or peeling. Only the head of the screws are powder coated to prevent build-up in the thread grooves. This coating is not indestructible but is far superior to paint and anodizing. The chrome color option is a polished stainless steel finish.

The washers used in these kits are primarily constructed in black nylon. The nylon washers act as a cushion to help lower the compression forces exerted into the plastic fairing. Shoulder washers combined with screws are utilized where required to replace OEM screws with machined shoulders.

Quality and Commitment

Each Bikebolts Sportbike Fasteners component and kit under goes condition and quality inspections prior to shipping. If you receive a kit/order that is not complete or has damaged items, please contact Bikebolts.com and the missing or damaged item(s) will gladly be replaced.

Refunds are valid only on items returned in new "as shipped" condition as shipped from factory in Cincinnati, Ohio (United States). Returned kits must be complete with no missing parts. There are no refunds on shipping costs. Refunds will be processed after the returned item is received at the factory in Cincinnati, Ohio (United States) and verified for condition and contents.

Looks like a nice product there! I have been thinking of a bolt or clip kit for a little while now for my orange and black 07 1k. Have any pics. of a kit installed on one of them?

Hi,

I don't have any pics of an 07 with our kit installed in orange, but I might have some of an 07 in the blue and white. The safety orange we currently have is not a good match to the Suzuki orange of that bike. However, I have some new shades of orange and one is likely a good match. I'll have to get back to you on it. Also, I have a friend with the same bike, I can probably get a hold of it to do some sample pics.

Stay tuned....

Thanks,

Steve

Are your screws lightweight alloy like the junk screws sold on ebay? Last set I bought was so soft the threads stripped right off before it was half way in.

Dude these screws are the real deal I bought some crap from "ProBolt" what a bunch of crap. No instuctions so I had no idea what washer was for what. The threads would strip and the head of the bolts would strip with no effort. I ordered these bolts in a complete set and it comes with every nut, bolt, washer, speed washer, and plastic pop rivet. I installed them last night and they are perfect! I'm so happy with them.

Thanks Steve:punk

Do you carry or will you be carrying the plastic push rivets that are on the underside of the tail section on most newer gixxers? They do not have the phillips head, just a small smooth pin.

Has anyone been able to get in contact with these guys? I placed an order about a week or so ago and I haven't received any type of tracking info, they haven't returned my emails, and no one picks up the phone when I call them.

I just ordered a set last week and recieved mine within 2-3 days. Ordered flat black.

It does come with everything but I suggest adding more screws to the packae instead of 4.. Also think about adding rubber gromets for the plastics on the tail section and down near the bottom of the lower cowling also for the headlight.

The only thing I was having trouble with was the allen wrench would fit right so I kept having to hammer it in to make it's groves turnig was fine.

Other then that, pretty pleased with the kit..

I placed my order on the 3rd and I haven't received anything yet. I ordered flat black as well. Iv'e tried to call them over 50 times over the past few days, no answer and no return phone call. My email's haven't been answered and all I want to know is if my bolts have shipped and if not, when they will ship. Do you guys think it would be premature of me to charge back the money i paid them and go get my bolts from someplace else?

i got all oem bolts now. i bought bike bolts about 6 months ago thinking they were oem style bolts, not just plain allen bolts and plastic spacers. i spent ~$40 iirc on bike bolts, when from ronayers, i could have gotten all the bolts i needed for like $20 and still had oem bolts to spare.
