Hey guys I really need help with my body positioning. Sorry I don't have a photo, but I was hoping if I explained it someone could relate and give me some pointers.
When I enter a turn my intent is to hang off the bike and move forward, but what I end up doing is twisting my body around the inside of the bike and my upper body is straight up acting like a sail. I know I'm not sliding my but off the bike, so how do I setup to do this. Please help. I'm getting really discouraged. I've tried to do it on the bike stand, but I feel really akward.

What you need to keep in mind is to slider one ass cheek off the seat. You should not feel the cheek touching the bike at all. Another thing for the upper body is to try and "kiss" the mirror. If you keep these things in mind, you will hang off correctly.

Foot work is a whole other story.

+1 on the video,

what has helped me personally is pushing myself up using the pegs. for i.e. dont just move your ass to the right and have all the weight on your ass. use your legs to scoot sideways and have most of the weight sitting lower on the pegs.

good luck!

Slide entire ass off bike, upperbody upright, push knee to ground as hard as you can.

And the result with this method is slower lap times and less control of the bike.

wow... I don't know if he's being sarcastic or not.... couldn't really tell. But the way he described it does look exactly like his photographs.
