All I can say is the tech guy over at Performance Machine is a complete idiot who probably has all of two weeks experience with their products. I doubt I will ever own another PM product as long as I live due to the level of stupidity over there! I ducumented a conversation with their tech and he contradicted himself over and over again, it was just so stupid! He went so far as to say my vintage PM 4 pot caliper (made in 1992) was a 2000 PM sportster caliper that had been modified for sportbike use..... if you have ever seen a 2000 PM sportster caliper you would know what I mean!

Lets just say there was a problem with brake pad fitment on the calipers...... and I wasn't about to go modifying brake pads to work with the calipers. And the agrivation just wasn't worth the effort.

Damn Dan, I didn't know that the ti axle was such a big deal to you. Ducky bought a bunch of stuff that amounted to a lot more than the offer you made me for the axle alone and his offer centered around the axle, so I'M SORRY MAN. And all the time you were talking to me via instant messaging up till the time that I sold it, with only one mention of the axle...I guess you were just trying to 'buddy up' to me? I'm far from being a squid....... Forgive me if what I'm trying to do with MY bike offends the so called racer in you. The fact that I don't want to put this particular bike on a race track has nothing to do with my ability to race. The fact that I do have ALOT of unobtanium or next to impossible parts to find on this bike is reason enough for me to keep it off the track. Now if I had a bike such as your ratty looking mess (that wouldn't even fetch $2500 on ebay) then hell yeah I would have been at the track with it all the time because I could care less if it ended up on the ground. There is no posing here, I'm just trying to put together what I had considered to be back in the day as "The dream bike I wish I had to race." If you can't respect that then I could care less what you have to offer here.

Did I want the axle? Sure I did. Everyone seemed to have gotten what they wanted so thats cool, Tony got a bunch of parts that he needed ( I believe I even went as far as telling you to contact Tony to begin with because he would be interested in the parts you had.....ram airbox etc) and you got some good money for them. I'm sure it won't be the last Ti axle I come across, it always seems like I come across multiple of whatever I'm looking for anyways.
