Only in 2cd when you open her up it seems to "slip" but the RPMS don't jump or anything, they continue to climb smoothly like nothing happens. It's a 2001 GSX-R 600 with around 5k miles on it.

sounds a little like the start of the infamous 2nd gear issue. do a search

eh? I thought taht problem was on 750's. What do you mean its slipping. if your tach and power is still smooth then it can't be slipping. Is it just making nosies somewhere?

the rmps climb smoothly, not the power, it lunges slightly while you're on the throttle
