Came from an 86 Kawi i had almost 5 years. Not a bad bike but old, slow, and needing lots of work
Just got an 08 Black/Black 600 with as of this moment 10 miles. I never did any work on the Kawi as it was my learner bike so i know next to nothing about mods, process for modding, things like that. Come from a heavy sports car world with a lot of modding so looking forward to getting into the 600 a little.
On the list is the low mount graves carbon since i love the look and want those passenger pegs off the bike! Cheers everyone,

So what does SQUID really stand for? It?s an Acronym, SQUirrely kID: 1. In reference to younger motorcycle (http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227180&page=4#) riders with little respect to posted speed limit laws, self safety or safety of others. 2. Inexperienced newcomer, someone trying to ride beyond his skill level with arms flailing (like a squid) to try not to fall. This may be just a Southern term. 3. Stupidly Quick, Underdressed, Imminently Dead. 4. Any SportBike Rider -- seems this term got twisted along the way and has many meanings. 5. Sportbike riders who wear tennis shoes or flip flops, shorts, T-shirts, etc. on their nice shiny new sport bikes. 6. Anyone who rides without all proper gear, rides recklessly or rides beyond his limits.

Smart man as gear is the way to go.
I always laugh when guy dump all kinds of money in to their rides but than skimp when it comes to gear.
I will not ride without all my gear on no matter what. It has saved my life and skin on more than once.
