: bike jumping out of gear(not 2nd)

what is up when a bike jumps out of gear just after the upshift. especially apparent at high revs and particularly around the 2nd-3rd up-shift when pulling 12k or so. it goes in,engages sweet, then pops out(into a false neutral). only just started happening. It's not the same as the 2nd gear issue as that was done and the symptom is different. It has happened going 4-5 too & again around the 12-12500 rpm mark. no problems on the downshift. what is up people? oh yeah, it's the dreaded 00 750 of course.
I've heard about the 'spring arm thing behind the clutch' & I've heard 'possibly selector forks ' as the issue.
any help/ideas much appreciated as I am no expert. I'm not prepeard to spend the time/money to rebuild the gearbox again as the engine has 25k miles now with 1 g/box rebuild already at 12.5k miles. (although I never replaced all the cogs, just #2 & it's mate(5 or 6...I forget) oh & did the worm, forks, shift shaft etc too. back then.
anyone know what this is likely to be? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gifhttp://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

everyone ive sen has been the shifter forks. its seems all my friends with gixxer 1000 with high (10k+) milage have this problem. get the service manual and check up on it. its not too hard of a job just labor intensive.

what is the condition of the clutch assembly?...i.e. fibers, steels, springs, basket, etc.

do you think i should crack it open & check? what do i look for when i'm looking at the clutch?
is there a minimum thickness on the clutch 'pads' or something? am i looking for the steels/fibers to be blackened or damaged? and how do i check springs?
is it just a general visual check looking for anything obvious?

thanks for the ideas so far guys.
