I bit the bullet and ordered a hardcopy manual from the dealer. Its only $79.

Not to start a holy war here, but seriously people, if you want the manual that badly go buy one. And honestly, do you have any idea how many pages are in the manual, and how long it would take to scan?
Everyone wants something for free. I'll scan the manual for you guys... but I want $$ for my time and $$ per page I scan.

Honestly, I would have no problem scanning a couple sections for everyone. But my wife is a copyright lawyer, and she would kill me if I did. And really, I'm just sick of whiny posters asking "come one how hard is it" while, really its not that hard to go to oneida suzuki or your local dealer and buy one. I agree, an electronic one is very useful for your laptop. I can see your argument there. But if people actually wanted it for the convenience, couldn't they buy a hardcopy, then scan it themselves? if i had access to a scanner i would scan it for myself and then sell my hardcopy to someone who wanted but i dont have a scanner and i dont know where i can go around here that can scan a book with double sided pages without ruining it. for all i know it cant be done without taking off the binding and i dont know how to do that.

:lol You actually couldn't be any further from the truth... If anything has a copyright, 99% of the time sharing = illegal since you are copying it (without the rights to copy...). If anything is licensed, most licenses explicitly disallow copying of any kind too. These days finding things that are legal to share (which is copying) are few and far between. Just crack open any book... most say it in the first few pages NO COPYING OR REUSE WHATSOEVER OF THIS TEXT.

Please be careful in your sharing... use tor, use proxies... protect yourself.

I'm not against sharing information and knowledge at all. This forum and other forums online have helped me more times than I can recall. I owe a lot to people that have helped me. I would also like to believe that I have reciprocated this help to others as well. The internet is a wonderful tool.

Ahh why bump this thread? I've come to the conclusion that it's useless and you should too. Give up, buy the book and move on with your life. I wish I could sage this post.

procedure wise, a lot of the 07 stuff is similar to the 08 so i dont see why the 07 service manual cant work as well... "remove this to take this out" regardless of direction you still need to remove whatever it is to get to whatever it is. Im pretty sure most of us know how to take off a bolt or screw.. because if we didnt.. then the service manual would be completely useless in the first place..

Im building a k7/k8 and i never once needed an 08 specific manual. I imagine though that people just need the parts list instead of the service manual itself... but then again thats what bikebandit is for.. or so what i use it for anyway.

K9 and L0 are the same as the bikes are identical.
