If any of you guys find any, post them in this thread and i'll update the list here in this first post for people to review.
Thanks

Not sure about the rules of posting links mate so youve got a PM.
If I am allowed to post link up of sites that arent sponsors, i'll post them up here.

00rngr 04-03-2008, 08:01 PM be careful what yall buy this early on. Suzuki put that longer exaust on from the slight engine changes made, to make it have more lower end grunt. so without testing your taking a chance of hurting your low end torque by putting on a slip on.

NEMES1Sx1st 05-16-2008, 05:20 PM wait so if its welded on then how would i go about the install myself if i dont have a welder to cut it off? would i use a hacksaw?? lol

The evo system is more a race system, meant for top end power. Diff between evo 1 and 2 is the shape of the muffler.
The race system oddly enough is more middle level power and meant more for street. Sort of odd now that works. same diff for 1 and 2 on that one. Believe they are both street legal.

Wow...is that how it is for the 750 too? And the other guy made a good point about buying early before testings are done....anyone can elaborate on that??

you don't remove the cat when you install a slip on. You have to get a full system to get rid of it, unless you cut it off, but then you have to fabricate a midpipe, weld it on and hope it runs ok. Unless you are racing the bike, just get a slip on, the bike has more than enough power for 99% of people out there as it is. I got the leo gp evoII and it sounds sweet, and I richened up the ecm with our yosh box and the bike runs awesome.
r6 eater 05-17-2008, 12:14 PM just do what i did and get some k7 headers then your choice is endless
MotoMummy 05-17-2008, 02:08 PM The difference between the race and evo system are the material. The evo's are made of titanium where the race akra systems are made of stainless steel. that is the only difference.
None are street legal as you ditch the cat. So that's why they state they are for off road use only, but that doens't seem to stop nearly anyone lol:lol

i wonder, with slip ons like taylormade, m4, or microns, if one really needs the pc3 fuel injection module installed. thoughts?

you could for get about any sound or gains by just doing a slip on... a few guys did just a slip on and where very disappointed... they said that there slip ons where no louder then stock and no power gains.. do a search

I have the M4 slip, and SET mod. bike runs smoother through the gears but I have noticed more lag off the start. To my understanding this means that my bike is now running lean which means I need a PC. So I would say yes...
gixxer_joe79 08-29-2008, 10:41 AM hey so the k7 heads do fit onto an k8?ive been looking into this.i think arrow has the best looking slip-on for k7.the moto-gp replica, sweet ass pipe.

Yep, what he said. Also the race is SS pipes, where the evo is Ti & more expensive.

That is only because you did the SET delete, if you just did the slip on there would be no performance loss down low or up top because with the CAT and SET still in place, it will retain basically stock back pressure and down low TQ.
aussie lee 08-29-2008, 06:45 PM i took it too the shop and they cut and welded a midpipe for $150 then i added the R-55 works and sounds great :cheers

shama_lover 02-19-2009, 10:50 PM Hi guys, have a problem with my K8 600 after i install the Arrow full system. There is a FI indicator shown on my meter..is there anything i should do prior to installing the system?

What did you do with the O2 sensor? Did you read the assembly instructions for the exhaust system? I am sure they mentioned what you supposed to do.
shama_lover 02-19-2009, 11:28 PM Its a used exhaust so it doesnt come with the assembly instruction. i also found that the midpipe seems to be longer than the stock and my lower fairings are slightly burnt by it. The 02 sensor is fixed onto the midpipe of the system, U reckon its causing the problem?
heard from a mechanic that there is a certain wire that need to be disconnected to solve the prob. wonder whats he talking about...

If you have a full system, you removed your SET valve. You must pull the #5 wire at the ECU or you will get an FI warning light since the ECU no longer see the SET valve. Also, if you are running a power commander (you should be with a full system), you should have removed the O2 sensor and installed a block off connecter in its place.
Motorbike Universe 02-20-2009, 07:51 AM Correct, you should disconnect the O2 sensor all together and get the O2 sensor eliminator and get a PC V or Bazzaz or even better the Motty AFR Tuner. We can get you a Bazzaz for real good price.
Also you need to disconnect that wire. Take a look at this manual:
