Does anyone know of a fender eliminator kit for the K8 600 that 100% fits for sure? (not sure if the K7 ones will fit and dont want to risk it)

I'm looking for one with a tail light and ideally is pretty simple to fit.

No one got one for their K8 yet or know of any that fit??

basically removing that huge chunk of plastic off the back of the bike and replacing with just a number plate/licence plate.

yeh i understand, i dont know why you would want to, atleast where i am i prefer the back fender protection the tail from dirt and mud on the ocasion, plus its hard to put the number plate there cause of the suspension

I think it tidys up the back end of the bike a lot bro. Plus is glorious sunshine here all the time, so no worries on dirt and mud lol

Man this shit is pissing me off!! I have literally searched the entire web .. OK so I exagerate slightly ... nearly the whole web and cannot find a single fender eliminator kit for the 08 600.

Does anybody know if the 07 kits will fit????

Dude, the bike is brand new, people who make tidy tail kits haven't had enough time to make the things you're asking about fit... same goes for exhaust, you should know this, have a little patience X_x

have you tied the dealer i kno its the dealer but sometimes that have stuff like that

FACT: Prior year "fender eliminator" kits will not work on the new K8 models.

Genuine Suzuki Accessories is in the process of developing a K8 "fender eliminator" that will soon be available for purchase through your local authorized Suzuki dealership. Our kit will be street-legal as it retains placement of the factory license plate light and reflector in accordance with government regulations.

i thought the turn signals were intergrated with the tail ? cant you just remover the big plastic crap and put one of those license plate relocatros that go on the swing arm ?

The break light and turn signals are integrated into the tail. Only a rear facing and side facing reflectors are on the fender (in addition to the plate and plate light)

what about the one on my 07..i got it off ebay and its called barely legal accessories. This one might fit if the rear pegs are the same distance apart. I don't see why not..

take a look...pretty basic bracket. It mounts between the frame and the pegs..5 minute install literally..

I like ur black powdercoated pegs.... but that fender eliminator looks highly suspect :-p

yea it was only like 45 bucks I think on ebay...Barely Legal Accessories. So easy to install too...only thing is there is no light but I haven't had a problem with the popo's on it

I contacted with hardracacing. com and they are saying that 08 600/750 fender eliminator kits might available within few weeks and they told me that 06/07 kits does not fit with 08.

i thought i read on here that the 08's factory mudflap has a bracket that you just put on by its self and that works well as a plate holder :dunno

when you take off the stock fender, there is a metal piece that goes against the plastic fender where the 4 mount bolts go through. The bracket has a trapazoidal bolt pattern. you can use the rear mount bolts to bolt the metal piece to the bike, then bend the front mount tabs 90 degrees, and with a little tweaking, the tag bolt holes will line up, and viola, you have a nice clean looking bracket for free!!

all you have to do is come up with a tag light and you are golden.

I have one one my 2008 GSXR 600 which I picked up off of ebay. Just do a search for 2008 GSXR 600. It cost me about $30.

Been going for an inner mount like that, was waiting on Barely Legal to get theirs done which is supposed to be soon I guess, Hotbodies has theirs out just not on the site. Is that bottom piece a light? How hard was the wire hookup on that? Cheers!

R&G do a tail tidy for the k8 has a little led light with it also, I bought one just not had time to fit it yet, also if you check Ebay there is one that has a gsxr logo cut into it, someone on here has it on a bike looks the part.

It works out just fine. It's only one bolt to mount it, which is probably the hardest part. They supply the extension wires but that's a breeze to hook up.

I know the 07 comes with a cover plate, not needed on the 08? Just wanted to make sure its not one of those things that would be needed that waiting for a listed 08 model might provide. Thanks for the details! Love how it looks.
