Hey guys, i have decided to finally getting around to chaing brake pads on my 96 1100 after riding the misses vtr1000f for a week, and decided my brakes are crap compared to her's, i think its the pad, my bike has braided hoses on it.
So my question is, which brake pads do you guys think are best for ya buck???
I am not after top of line race track type ones, i do a lot of communting on my 1100, just something thats gonna give me good feel.

Yes EBC HH pads are great pads. Also have your rotors bead blasted to give them some new bite.

sweet as i got a bead blaster next door i got the use of so i will do that.
I am looking at premier HH which are pretty much ebc renamed in new zealand.
but the bead blasting sounds like a great idea, that gives me a job to do on monday, strip front bike wheel down, and re do the brakes (c:<
cheers guys

A hand-impact driver-thingie is useful for removing the rotor-bolts. Be prepared to round a few out and replace them with new ones... and don't forget the loctite - but I dunno where to find the super-weld-formula loctite that Suzuki used in there originally...

I heard loctite will give a little if you heat the bolts with a torch. I haven't tried it but next time I need to I will. Anything to skip all that time cussing a bolt that won't break free.

Nah no problems with those bolts, only bolt i had problem was one of the bolts holding the front gaurd on. but thats easy fixed.
It had brembo pads in the bike, there have never been and good, but now after bead blasting the disc, and replaceing pads, and replacing wll the fluid in the lines(braded) it stops on a dime.
cheers for the help guys
