what do y'all think? i actually dont mind the higher mounted exhaust minus the stupid black cat that sticks out the bottom....

here are some other pics i took today when i went to the dealer as well. supposedly (from what the dealer tells me), this is the first new black/black gixxer 600 if not the first new gixxer 600 on the east coast in the us.

ok strange question, i have a friend who just got a 08 600 and he is wondering if there is a way for him to mount the 06-07 two brothers pipe onto his 08 600? i know the 08 pipe leaves the cat in place but he doesnt pick the bike up for a few more days yet so i cant actully get my hands on the bike and start poking around. anyone have any experience on this

The 08 cat is welded to the headers to keep people from tampering with it. the 06-07 will not work on it due to that. You might be able to cut it off or cut the piping down on the 06-07 but it's going to take a great deal of work to make it fit and you risk destroying the parts while trying to do it. If you got a full system there is a good chance it might work, but you would want to c ontact two brothers directly.

Or... you could find a 06-07 header and get any 06-07 slip-on you want.

Is that in knoxville TN, cause they also have that same 600 and have had it for about 2 weeks now, they want 11,400 for it, so i dont see them saling it any time soon

That's messed up man, so unless you get a full system or spend some time fabricating the headers you're stuck with the cat:dissapointed
