If it saved one accident it would be worth it and what about the up and coming 17 year old riders who can't afford the ridiculous price of £50 for an 'illegal' dark visor? think about the dangers that they already have with their inexperience ! My feelings are that the use of a dark visor in poor light sits with other driving offenses such as : 1. Kids not wearing seatbelts 2. people smoking whilst driving 3. Use of mobiles (non hands free) 4. Drink driving All these add to the death statistics on our roads in my opinion, and until you are affected by one you don't think that they are a problem, I haven't been affected by any but like to try to make a difference if I can. So that's what I've sent to my contacts and I've signed it of course !! What happens with it next though, is there a plan to present it to parliament or similar......??????? I need to know where this goes next now. I rallied around for the diesel petition with MCN a few years ago and threw around 1000 signatures and it made no difference whatsoever. I also wrote to manufacturers who understood the issue, some even had plans to make a difference, I reckon that I'll bring that back to the surface over the next few weeks, well what else is there to do when you're in the middle of a divorce and winter is drawing in????
