Sorta cool, but a little ...........ah................messed. A gixxer should look like a gixxer. A gixxer's stylin is a bit generic, but it is growin' on me. Any part of the r1 just doesn't belong there.

That is one of the members bikes. It was in the pics and vids section. It is gixxerjunkie's bike. Here is a link he has a little right up on it too.

Wow, I didnt expect all of these threads, but yes it is real. I worked on many hours of beer and pizzas. I have always done mods like this to all of my bikes. This makes it all mine and not so easily forgetable. Anyhow, I am glad you guys liked it. And for you die-hard gixxer fans, no matter what how I wrap it, it is still has the heart of a bad azz gixxer and that I would never change.


Update:
I moded out the stock air tubes so they collect about 90% of the air scooped up by the intakes. I dyno'd the bike after finishing the mod and no difference from the time it had the stock fairing.

Next up:
I am working on taking the stock look and moding out with my own molded plexy with HID lights. This one is going to take a sh*t load of time and effort. A perfect project for the winter.
