I am not feeling so good. This new model is fu...ing good, I like the front it better than the 1000.

I thougt about that just before I bought mine, (just got it last month). But I could not pass up the discount on the bike. Dealer was trying to clear out the 03's for the new 04's coming soon. That new 04 model is http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/applause.gif

just remember, the bike you have isnt outdated unless you are being limited by its abilities... and the current generation bikes are still very nice looking.

The '00 to '03 gsxr 750 is and will continue to be an outstanding sport bike for a few years to come. There is more than enough power, braking, and handling in these bikes to keep up with anything. I just love having an under-dog bike (a 750) amoungst a pack of litre bikes, and knowing that it can keep up ....straight line or track. enjoy. cheers.

erm a bit pissed to be honest but i still love the bike i've got and thats what really matters, its still the bike i bought ,it hasnt suddenly got worse because the new one has a bit more eye candy going on

BUT... I don't ride anywhere near the ability of my '03 750... and it's not like it's a revolutionary jump or anything. It isn't like going from a '96 katana 600 to an '03 750 gix which is what I did this year. I doubt I'd even know the difference as far as power and handling goes between the '03 and '04.

you just gotta remember these bikes get renewed every other year or so and major redesign like every 4 or 5 years. the srads still kick ass. and my 02 750 is hardly outdated. yes there are newer ones, but the bike will kick my butt any day of the week. if you need the latest and greatest you are gonna have to buy new each and every year. so basically, no i am not pissed.

glad that i got the old body style when i did, the 04 600's and 750's are hideous! even with the performance advantage, i wouldn't be caught dead on a new 04 600 or 750, that headlight is bad, and i don't mean bad meaning good.

I love my bike, i have liked this body style ever since they changed in 2000, i think the 03 750 has the best looking paint scheme so far(in blue & white) the only thing i wished that my bike came with was black wheels & and a black frame (like the 03 1000). as far as perfomance goes; i am nowhere near the full abilty of my bike.
as far as the new model its nice but there 3 reasons i wouldn`t buy a first year model change:
1. if you wreck ,its going to be real hard to get parts
2. if you want aftermarkrt parts you will have to wait till the middle of next summer for them to be availble
3.sometimes there could be 1st run problems that have not been worked out yet

Personally I know that my 03 is beyond my abilities so I just want to work on improving that before I jump on the next generation of liter bikes that look as if they will all have around 180hp in the near future. If or when that day comes Ill just turn the 750 into a track bike!

I'd have to agree with some of the others in here. I think the '04 is much less appealing than the 03' (maybe Im biased). Not down with the white along the botton half of the fairing nor am I a fan of the headlight. I think the '03 750 is the best looking gixxer to date.

The 750 is awesome! I have an 01 and love it. I run track days as well as race it. Imagine a 600 chassis with 123+rw Hp. Thats the 750! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/banana.gif

I was actually on the sidelines for awhile deciding if i wanted a snowmobile or a bike. One of the reasons I bought my bike was because pics of the 2003 1000 were out and I figured it was probable that the 750 was going to be redesigned the next year. I have allways liked the look of the Suzukis, I like the new ones also but for some reason I like the look of the 00 to 03 750's a bit more.

In my opinion there isnt that much of a difference between the bikes anyway, evolutionary not revelutionary. If they had come out the the 04 750 and it had 175 hp, weighed 225lbs, had HID's and CF wheels for the same price I paid for my 03 then I might of been upset however. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Werd, my 03 750 is my baby and I love it WAY more then the new looking bikes...The one headlight thing doesnt do it for me.
