Well, with the amount of members we have on the team it is very difficult to recruit sponsors, and keep organization. So, we will each be branching out to our own satellite teams. Im sure you guys have noticed the BMF racing in my sig so this is the explanation. Also, there are far too many of us in the group that we race with and some were excluded and we all felt bad because of our size but we had to close the door on the number of racers. A handful of us will still be running the "offthewallracing powered by gixxer.com" stickers since it is the parent team, but then we will each have our own team stickers as well. We will be keeping the sponsors we currently have as long as they dont have a problem with how we are managing our team and we will still all be racing together... we are all still keeping the offthewall name, and stickers since it is the parent team. but each person is responsible to get their own sponsors, and can paint their bikes what ever color they want. and when going for sponsors they can use offthewall/what ever their satellite team is... this is really being done because every sponsor we have contacted says... wow.. 7 members... call us back if you get your numbers down to 2 or 3... and now it is each persons own responsibility to get their own sponsors.. and lastly...there are so many guys that we race with and being that we are all good friends and what not we didnt want anyone to feel left out. and the only way to not have anyone feel left out is if we all sort of do our own thing while still keeping otw! we will still have our otw website... all that good stuff. originally, fever and i started otw and then as we all started hanging out and racing everyone that came along became a part of it until we realized that we wanted to get sponsors and a lot of them didnt want a team of 7 or more people because it is no added benefit to them to have 7 people on the same track. at least that is what they told us... so just to finish up... we are not leaving the otw.. but we are keeping that and branching out. everyone will come up with their own satellite team name (if they want a team at all, and if they dont want a team name then that is fine too).

I'm sure the way you guys are, what with helping each other and even your compatition, you will always be part of the core group and be there for each other.

now I've been saying this forever and a day, and now that i saw/scored my first endurance race this past weekend, WHO WANTS TO RACE ENDURO???????????? I think its fun as shit, and I like sprints and all but sometimes you get dumbasses going banzai out there and its just dangerous. I dont need to die doing fucking club racing...

And yeah I just sent you a PM on CSC too, it'll take some creative thinking to get the superchicken past tech but it'll make a tight endurance bike so I still want to pursue that angle. Lurch suggested even bolting some metal straps to the thing for "case covers". I may have Dave Gallant fabricate some metal plates instead, I think I have 3 good mounting points on each side that could be used if a metal plate was cut and bent properly.

I want you to come down and go over the bike with me, we need to think about what it will take to (a) get it past tech (b) race prep and (c) get to our collective liking. Fortunately (I was thinking about this last week) we're basically the same weight and build, so one suspension setting *should* be ideal for both of us, if we can get our riding styles close.
