I put the key in the bike tonight to go for a ride and the needle didn't move and the screen was blank, but the light was on. Any ideas of what happen? Whats broke or loose....Or do I have to go buy a new cluster. I seem real strange, cause I don't think parts like this are surppose to break. Does this happen alot?

I don't know which fuses control what, but could it be the gauge cluster has blown a fuse? did it somehow come unplugged?

I checked all the plugs, and they looked good. My neutral light, fuel light and all those lights still work and the backlight works too. I checked the fuses I don't think it run off a fuse, unless I just could not find it.

as crazy as this sounds, check the fuse for your turn signals...

Is your headlight on? My 01 tach and headlight went out. A conection in the main harness to the cluster went bad in the molex.

My headlights work, everything else works. I don't have any digital readout and my tach doesn't work.
