Hi-
i put dunlop 208 street tires on and it seems like the front is sitting higher, actually it seems the whole bike is sitting higher. is this in my head or it the front taller than the stockers?
now what do i do about it?I.E.- how far do i drop the front end now to end up the same?
thanks,

It must be that they are all shiny and new http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Its probably the sidewall differences throwing you, but the ZR's are pretty negligible size wise to the stockers. The front is within 2mm (taller) and the rear(190) is about the same but shorter by 2mm. Even their 180 is not as tall as many others, its only about 2mm taller than stock.

Funny that they are all within a couple mm in either direction, but the good thing is you dont have to screw with heights since that little bit wont do much on the street, and definately less than the profile changes between Dunlop and Bstone.

Yes, the Dunlop 208s have a overall larger diameter due to the higher "crown" shape of the tire. Sit one next to say a 207 or pilot sport and you will see exactly what I'm tlaking about.

It's a good thing, enjoy the new tires. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Just to clarify, the 'overall diameter' is not significantly taller since its a negligilbe 2mm so it will not effect geometry which was the concern. But as indicated there is an illusion of being taller as the sidewall height is less on the dunlop due to the profile difference.

Just want to make sure it was not interpretted as a conflict saying its really taller and adjustments may be necessary as they will never be seen on the street with the miniscule difference in diameter.
