Does anyone know if you need your racing license to do a Thursday practice at Loudon? Its been about 10 years since I held a license but I want to go and play.

you sure about that dave?? I think you need a license or a cert from a racing school. I suggest calling up there to be sure.

Thursday practice is run by NHIS and is not considered a practice day, but rather a test and tune day.

All that is required is a $100 and a heartbeat. There is no tech. There are no cornerworkers.

And usually at least one car will puke its entire oil fill on the track line ruining the rest of the day.

Thanks guys. I called the track and they didn't know what the fu#k they were talking about so I called Don Hutchinson ( can't believe he is still around) and he told me that in 20 years he's never seen anyone check anything. He did say if I had my old license to bring it with me just in case they give me any crap.
