: I want to go TURBO. NEED HELP.
hondata 01-09-2008, 06:19 PM I have a 2004 Suzuki gsxr 750.. I no nothing about turbos for bikes lol.. So I really need all the info I can get. Is it safe for the bike? Do I go custom or do they make name brand kits? How much do they run around? Do I have to build the motor? Is there any places that install on Long Island N.Y. Looking for a good shop around by me. I live in Stony Brook.. Anymore info would really help.
Thanksss

I heard that they dont make kits for my bike? I have to part everything out I was told.. Well where are the best places that I can get a turbo setup for the cheapest or the best price?
night ryder 01-10-2008, 11:34 PM you get what you pay for.
hondata 01-11-2008, 06:40 AM you get what you pay for.
That's not helping me lol.. You guys have to let me know what not to buy and where to get the good stuff at .. And if you know a place that sells them cheaper then anywhere else..
Should I go turbo? Is it safe for the bike?
quick99 01-11-2008, 08:05 AM I have heard good things about RCC also. You may want to call him and or the other big three and see if they can put together a custom kit for you. By the time you are finished, it will not be cheap, But like it was already said, you get what you pay for. Also, you will need a good tuner to dial it in for you.

Turbo K6 01-12-2008, 05:02 PM Putting a turbo on a 750 is a waste in certain ways... You'd come out better getting a 1000 because it has much more gusto than the 750. A turboed 750 probably wont be significantly faster than a 1000 anyway... Get the 1000 and call Velocity Racing then you'll make power.

x1000
For the horse power gains the turbo setup on a 750 is just not worth the money. This is why you will notice a majority of your turbo vendors do not carry a kit for a 750. It is much more economical to go with a 1000cc bike and work it from there. If you cant sell the bike and you have 4 to 5k in your pocket (because thats how much these turbo kits cost on average) then your better off doing a 1000cc motor swap. Much cheaper than 4k and your power output is still more than what a turbo kit will put down with a 750 motor. My 2 cents....
.:1k:. 03-04-2008, 01:15 AM why do you want to turbo it anyways?
JetSpeedz 03-19-2008, 08:53 PM stick with Richard over at RCC or Seb at NLR or Barry at Velocity in that order
Dont listen to the guys who say a turbo 750 wont beat a naturally aspirated 1000. It's not true. I rode both on the weekend and the 750 turbo was awesome, and definately faster than my thousand.
But the money will be better spent on the thousand-turbo, thats for sure.
rockytoyota 04-03-2008, 06:58 PM Hey Man I Have A 750 And I Wouldnt Go Turbo B/c Imo And The People I See W/ Them At The Track Only About 50% Of The Time They Are Running That Well...if You Want Some Quick Power And Want To Go Fast Just Put Progressive Controler And Some Nitrous And You Can Run Some Great Times...and You Can Still Ride Everyday W/o Problems....nitrous Done Right Is Just As Good As A Turbo...and I Know People Will Not Agree W/ Me On That But I Dont Care!! Good Luck Man If You Need Help Just Pm Me, Remember That Not Everyone Has 10k To Buy A New Busa Or 1k..let Us Know What You Do.

+1 i agree , i think NO2 done right is a lil better in the way that you can have power on demand when you need it , and not use it when you are just crusing aorund .
