I need to knbow if I havea small problem or a whole tranny problem....... in second gear around 6000 and above my bike makes this skip/jump feeling that is really bothering me...there is no slippage fromn the clutch its just feels like a pop otr like its trying to slip from gear....Any Ideas on what it is....and do any of you have any idea where i can get a service manual for a gixx 600?

my mate had the same problem on his R1. You must be pulling wheelies in second gear, this is to much stress and strain for that gear. It sounds like you have striped a tooth off in second. This will cost you, they will strip your gear box down and replace second gear. A handy tip is to start your wheelie in first gear then change up.

Mine is doing the same damn thing... I pull LOTS of wheelies in second so I'm guessing that's gotta be it. How much is THAT gonna cost me?
