Hey guys, I am done trackdays this summer and when I put back on the stock bodywork everything works except the low beam/running headlights. The High beam (brights) lights work just fine. Anybody know what's the deal? is it a blown fuse or do I need to replace the light?

Arent the lights standard H4? That means that there are 2 filiments inside. You can concievably break/burnout the low-beam and only the high-beam would work. LOOK at them make sure both look good.
I dont know much more about wiring or fuses in this respect. Wait for another response.
Good luck man.

there are separate fuses for low beam and high beam. check the low beam fuse.

it seems like it may be a little more involved than just changing the bulbs.....so both the low beam filaments would have went out at the exact same time??? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wait.gifhmmm.... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wait.gif just my .02

Alright here is the deal with my headlights, They are H7's and it was a blown fuse. I have no idea how that happened. All I did was remove the entire upper and put in storage. The low beams were working before I removed the upper, and when I plug them back in not working? The only thing I can think of is some mostire built up on the connectors on either the bulds or the sockets and when I plug them in and turn it on it blew? The sockets were exposed all summer long and I do remember times towing the bike back from the tracking the rain.
