Pulled 139Hp w/ i don't know which dynojet dyno( the owner didn't know he just said it was about 2 years old). He said that no correction factors were used, it was about 84-86 deg F in that shop and it was done at whatever elevation that chicago land area is at (lombard). Should i be disappointed ?

got k1 gixxer 1000. got yoshi pipe,re-mapped using origional yoshi box and had fuel injection syncronized by a very good local dealer. the bike was bought new by me and had covered 4000m,apparantly the fuel injection was not set correctly although it felt goood to me ,after it had been sorted it felt super.. my local dyno house features a wind tunnel with a 170 mph wind blast to get the effect of the ram air on the power stakes as riding on the track would.. after 4 runs my bike topped out between 150.1 and 150.4 rear wheel bhp power. i would post results but dont know how 2.get you injection sorted if you know a good dealer you will be surprised. good luck>> ps for me about 120 horsepower is enough for road riding.. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/punk.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

That does sound unusually low to me. See my post a couple of days ago titled '157.7RWHP'. The title says it all. I've simply added an Akro bolt on can with power commander and had a custom map done.

Uncorrected numbers are nearly worthless for comparison purposes. Don't sweat the low number until you know for sure it is low!!!!

hey dude,
Have you checked out Chicago Performance on North Ave. ? I meet the owner of the shop, Ken, out riding mountain bkes at Palos Forest Preserve. Real cool guy and his shop is full of race goodies. He has an 02 1000 and from what I hear, a good dyno setup. PM if you need more info.

Let us know what your K3 gets. Guy I know dynoed his last night and put down 146rwhp with a full Hindle exhaust. He has 900 miles on it and broke it in hard.

thats a lil low, but it may not have been on a dynojet 250..thats the only dyno i trust..a new bone stock 1000 should have around 146-147 rwhp up from the '01-02s which have around 142 rwhp

i did two more pulls at this other place, but it only netted 142 and it wasn't a 250 dyno, does any one know of a 250 dyno near by that does good dyno tunning, cause i am getting a full exhaust and i am currently waiting for my PC3Usb to be delivered
thanks to all

Hey, not trying to steal from this thread but i would like to get my K2 gix on a proper dyno with someone who knows how to run it. I live between Ft. lauderdale/Boca Raton Florida...does anybody here know somebody local? Thanx.
