I have had my 1999 750 for just over a year and have always run it with a straight through can. I fitted the standard can for the MOT a couple of days ago and now the idle wont settle. It goes under 1000rpm when slowing from high revs and after 20 seconds or so it then picks up to the normal 1100 or 1200. Could this be caused by re-fitting the standard can?

As far as I'm aware, the fuelling system is totally standard and the bike ran fine with the other can on:confused

thanks for all the replies guys... I think I have sorted it out now. It was the coil on plug no. 1. It wasn't pushed on properly!
