I just want to clear up some information that a lot of us have been wondering about.

I have a dual carbon fiber yosh exhaust on my 1k k7, and was not satisfied with the sound of the exhaust as some other guys here on the website. So I am here to tell you that you can get so much more out of those cans than you think.

First of it doesn't matter if you have the carbon, ss or any other finish of the same yosh trc, this will apply to all of them. One, there is an insert that you can take off the end cap of the exhaust, this reduces noice level and that is why people arent happy. That piece is not called a BAFFLE as other people have come to call it, it is called and insert, the only way I know that is because a tech from yosh explained the difference to me. The baffle is to much to do on this exhaust. The way to remove this insert is by removing the screw that is exactly at 6 oclock while looking at the exhaust, at the end cap.

Now on the carbon fiber you dont need to go through the trouble of removing the ribits and doing all that B.S, as you have to do is drill a hole at six oclock directly below the screw, so you don't mess up the end cap start with a small drill bit and go slowly because it can brake if you put to much pressure on it. When you get the hole bit enough you should see the screw, after locating it take it off and use some needle nose pliers to remove the insert. It will be about 5-6 inches long, so just pull and it should come out easily.

On the other finishes for the dual yosh, there is an actuall hole already there for you to remove the screw without drilling it. After you remove the insert the exhaust sounds somewhat better, but if your looking for the sound I was you wont like it after that either. So you go online and order an Arrow mid pipe to eliminate the CAT, and it runs about $150 plus tax and shipping. You can order it from motostrano.com.....

And trust me you will be satisfied with the results. I am, and you can actually fill the diference as well. :cheers :cheers

and good luck to all
hopefully this helps anyone with the same problem I had.
