What part of N.Y are you in? I used to live in a small town called Preble its just outside cortland county. Nothing but farms and fields its awsome I miss it so much. Your pictures remind me of where I used to live.

I'm just east of Binghamton. I've been to Preble a few times!

I had the day off (until work tonight) and it was just about the most perfect day imaginable today so I took the gix to the catskills. I was going to do some bicycling later but decided to climb a ski-slope instead.

A couple from the reservoir...There are two reservoirs up here for the NYC water supply. Both of which are situated where former towns existed. They just dammed the rivers and flooded the towns! The roads are nice motorcycling with a few technical corners and a lot of sweepers. Passed a lot of bikes!

The top was incredible, but not very colorful, sad to say, so I didn't take many shots. You had to be there I guess..

Nice pics, I grew up in NY and my family owned a home in the Catskill Mountains...now I live in FL.

Honestly, I'd rather have the rain...in NY, it will be freezing in about 30 days, in FL, clear sky's, 50% chance of rain, low of 75, high of 85.

My friends ski house is somewhere in or close to the green. I have not been there for quite some time but the lodge is exactly how I remember it.
