I've got the carbs off and am trying to remove the needle from the slider,
there is a white deal you can see from the top of the diaphram. called the holder
on this picture it looks like the needle is under #6-#11
How do I get the needle out to change the clip settings

Needle nose pliers and just pull up. There's only an o-ring that holds it in. It's easier than it looks at first. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/banana.gif

I was afraid to just pull it too hard .... you were right a little extra effort with some needle nose

got any tips for reassembly .. seems like it would be easy to not line up the little spring

put the spring on the keeper (just one coil of the spring will stay on there) and it will line up on the top the carb needle when you put the keeper back http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/banana.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.
