Bike in question: '07 Kaw ZZR600

A couple months ago i had my bike service, including a carb cleaning because i was running on 3 cyl. Long story short 2 months later my bike is running like crap at low R's I think my Carbs are messed up again, I was told by several people to dump carb cleaner in the tank and run it at high R's and it would fix itself. I'm concerned that I could somehow mess something else up in the process. I was considering taking it back to the shop and having them cleaned again.

Also, I'm trying to figure out why this has happened twice now.. and I *think* it may be because I normally don't turn off the fuel switch (the one on the side of the bike ON-OFF-RESERVE) If you could help me or tell me what may be wrong I'd be forever grateful!

Thanks
Ashley

hi mate had the same problem on my 93 gixxer 750. traced the fault (with help of local dyno company!!!!!) to incorrect float levels.
bike was running crap at low revs because it was actually flooding!!!!!!!!!
once float levels were reset to spec bike is now spot on.
give it a try it may help
you will need to get float measurments from web or local dealer.
you will need to set float height so when carb upside down on the bench and all float bowls off the joining seam on the floats are usually level with carb body
let me know if that works
good luck
