I'm leaning toward the intuitive or vortex sliders, but I can't find them for sale. Parts411 and kneedraggers don't seem to have them. Where have you gotten yours and what type? Do the 01-02's fit the 03's? Thanks

directly from intuitive, kneedragers, chicago cycle center (talk to Gladys)

The latter is where I got mine and it was the best price too. Gladys Rocks! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I have vortex on my bike and they look great, and stick out nicely. I can get them for you for around $60. Let me know.

I've had Intuitive on order for over a month (through a local retailor)...... Anyone else having this trouble?

Yes, I was told the same thing....it would be mid October before they could get them. I'm going to read up on the YoYo to see if I want to go that route.

I got vortex sliders from kneedraggers.com. Get the 01-02 sliders that are non-bracketed. It says 'fairing modification required', but this isn't the case with the 03. I'm pretty happy with their quality.

Well, now I'm considering the yoyo's. Thanks for all the replies. One more thing though; does anyone have any pics?

I got the Motovation. There are 55 shipped. The logo is just a sticker and I peeled mine off. I wasn't into it.

Can't go wong with LSL.

This set up supports the slider higher up on the frame instead of the bolt hole alone. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

OK, this thread is a bit old, but I found it by using that funny search feature.

Any new frame sliders out for the 03-04 1000s yet? Most of the big companies out there don't feel like updating their websites so stuff is hard to find for the new bikes.

Anyone tested out their sliders yet? How are those Yoyodynes? The pics of it on the CBR600rr leaned over looked like they flex quite a bit under the weight of the bike.

http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif Yes unfortunatly I did test out the Motovation sliders http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif they held up like champs and protected very well only minor damage, I needed to replace rearset on the side it went down on and had a little damage to the bar end and grip mirror a little damaged and damaged the upper and tail fairing, the left side fairing was damaged but I could have still used it. I replaced it still need to replace the upper and a few other minor scratched items to make bike perfect. I would HIGHLY recomend.

I have the Lockhart Phillips frame sliders. I went down about a month ago and they saved my bike big time. The best part about it is I can just order a new plate for the ends and some new screws and they are as good as new. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I too have gone for the Motovation Sliders.

I had them delivered from the US to Scotland without any problems and they have worked out a good £15 cheaper than buying similar here in the UK.

Fitting them couldnt be easier.

Hopefully I'll keep them looking like this.
