I really want to sell my bike. I layed it down. The left side isn't too bad and the front fairing stay doesn't seem to be bent. the mirror brace and some controlls and master cylinder are needed. The fairings are messed up. Right rearset mount is broken . It has 12,000 miles on it but it run's strong (just dynoed at 113h.p. Any ides as to how much I can ask for it. I'd like to put it in the for sale forum once I get my red "R". any ideas would be a BIG help. I'd like to sell it to get and 03' 750

it depends.....do you want to sell it whole or part it out. You may get more if you part it out. if you want to sell it as it depending on the condition of the front end....I would offer (if I were to buy it) with straight forks, maybe between 2k and 3k for it. but that is just me (if you feel like I am lowballing, sorry, not trying to). you could probably get someone to pay more for it.
If you are willing to part it out, let me know. I would like to have a few parts off of it.
Good luck
Thanks,

Where are the Ram Air ducts? Did you lose them in the crash, or were they missing?

I say you should take anything aftermarket off of the bike and put oem back on if you have them, like the seat, put the regular seat tail on and sell the cowl and anything aftermarket you can. Then I'd sell it the way it sits, it's not too bad from your pictures look like it can be fixed for a reasonable amount or fix it up and sell it as a running good bike. If you sell it the way it sits you'll probably be in the $2500-3000 range, but if you fix it you might be able to squeeze $4750-5000 for it depending on how it looks and how it rides.

I would realy like to try to sell it as is. I'm layed up in bed from the accident and can't really part it out. I think if I can get 3,000 for everything I'll consider myself lucky. The Ram Air tubes were lost in the crash. My buddy walked along the cornfield and they were nowhere to be found.

I just made my donation to get my red "R" so I'll put it in the for sale forum as soon as my "R" shows up.
