: What do you use for headlights on streetfighters jhendrix 08-06-2003, 04:21 PM Well after having one hell of a time trying to find good stock bodywork for my 90 gixxer i have finally come to like the stripped down look. I want to remove the front headlight fairing and windshield but it looks pretty bad when stripped. What are some ideas on headlights\mountings that have a nice clean look to them? Also is there a place where i can get a small fairing just so i can keep the windshield if possible. Thanks much. Randy gusset2 08-07-2003, 02:29 AM i went for the classic twin bates chrome lights made my own bracket, there is untold amounts of companies here in the uk that do sweet little nose fairings let me know if you want any links, most will ship to usa tdragon 08-07-2003, 03:38 AM on my 92 gsxr sf i have 2 fog driving lights 1 with a 55w bulb for low and 1 with a 100w buld for hi. i thought about getting a blast windsreen and cutting the lower half th match the outline of the foglights. i have seen the bandit 600 and sv 650 headlight on a gsxr sf, it looks cool hope this gives you some ideas. MStingray 08-07-2003, 04:14 AM anyone use the stock wire harness/plug and just bought a headlight/bracket to fit? any idea where to get it? i have an SVS that i'll probably dump all the stock stuff and get some race fairings but want to keep a light in case i ride on the street or at night. no driving/fog lights cause those don't actually illuminate anything, just keep ya legal (sorta). NakedBandit 08-07-2003, 01:33 PM Go to cycle salvage, they can get you a headlight from another bike, usually something like a bandit 400 that is just a single round light. The stock harness will just plug in.
