60095 This nut is presenting a problem for me, the factory punched it so it would stay locked. But I'm having trouble undoing the punch without damaging the shaft. I don't care about the nut just want to take it off so I can pull the transmission out. Does anybody have an idea how to do it properly?
Thanks. I've tried to get a punch in there to bend out the impression but it just keeps driving the metal deeper into the slot.:cursing

Sorry about the pic I don't know how to reduce it.

air impact is what I always use

so you don't try to free the punched portion of the nut first?? Just overcome it with an impact wrench??

yep, just impact it off and when reinstalling, impact on and use a punch to secure

Old thread, I know.

I'm having the same issue...so how did you hold the hub in place without the special suzuki tool and without damaging/scrarring/scratching the hub?

Hold by hand, C-clamp?
