A bit of a hit and miss kind of day. clutch slippage in the first race so had to put another set of clutch plates in which sorted the problem.
Managed to find a false neutral in pretty much every race which was a ball ache but managed 5th out of 18 in the last race, the Newcomers Handicap, which is always a bit of a free for all with 125's up to 1000's but all good fun!

Darley Moor with no rain? Thats like strawberries without cream http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
5th is a great result, especially as you're thrown onto the track with all the nutters who think that racing a 1000 is a great way to start racing http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Replusion,
Actually it's a cycle track (seriously) but fookin' fast. Mark Garside's R1 was clocked at180mph down the back straight, it's basically a triangle with a couple of chicanes on 2 of the sides.

races 5 and 17 http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
in fact they race allsorts round there. Karts are regulars and this meeting we had a load of roadstock guys and some 80cc championship. the problem with that was that they sent some of the 80's out in the newcomers handicap which was just a piss take. I lapped this one lad twice in an 8 lap race. i dread to think what the speed difference between one of those and an R1 is down the straight, just dangerous.
