Have stripped the bike now and found that three of the four plugs was running rich and one was weak. have wound in the screws fully and set them all to 2 1/4 turns out.
this has made a vast difference to the running below 3500rpm. however there is still a flat spot between 3500rpm and 4000rpm. has anyone else had this problem and can anyone shed some light on this problem.
