Alright lads and ladies.

Just thought id let those of you who are interested know, i have passed my test and i am now on the road.

Decided to change from the 92 GSXR400 as everyone i spoke to said it would be too small for me as im 6ft 2" and 16 and a half stone.

Went into the place i bought it from and spoke to a different guy, and basically said that i didnt think the salesman should have sold it to me. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/piss.gif
Fair enough i did tell the guy i was a total novice, but i didnt expect him to take advantage of the fact.
The bloke agreed, and i changed the bike.

Much, much much happier with my selection now, which is a 2003 GSXR600 K3 in black and silver.

i picked her up on the 17th of July, and was told i was going offshore on the 19th.
typical.

still, ive been enjoying the time i have had.
the boat i work on had to come in on the 23rd so i got to go home for a couple of days.
just joined again today, so the couple of days i have had have been put to good use.
ive done just over 500 miles so far, and i havent been commuting, so its just been for my own personal pleasure. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

had a couple of good runs out and about, and havent even minded getting wet with the weather being as it is just now. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/piss.gif

only set back has been dropping her on the right hand side on the second day i had her.
wheeling it backwards out of the garage, felt it was getting away from me too quickly, panicked and grabbed the front brake.
lost balance, and it tipped over.
the next few seconds were in slow motion, and no matter how i tried i couldnt stop it from going over.

i felt like a total twat, but looking back its just one of those things and i put it down to lack of experience.
