Tonight I was driving home from work cruis'n at 50 mph when this asshole starts tailgating. I looked in the mirrors to get a good look and make sure it wasnt a cop. Then I floored it and pulled a car length on him. I was dusting his ass. Then I had to get on the brakes because I was closing in on a car in front of me plus I was way over the speed limit. Then he catches up to me, gets and the other lane beside me and yells DICK. What did I do wrong? He was taligating me so I floored it on his ass to get him off.

I know yesterday I was driving with my mom and we were going to wally world for something and we had this white dodge charger following us for a while... turned out to be a undercover cop car.... I would have to say out of all the road's I have been on I hate I 77 in the georgia / south carolina area too many people tailgatin .... and I would of done the same thing as you.

you sure it wasn't somebody riding your ass to make sure nobody cut them off. That crap happens to me a lot here in Sarasota.

Well it was more than that. But people say you are exaggerating and start calling BS when you use more than that. I was being moddest. There was honestly a good distance between us after I floored it. It took him alittle time to catch back up after I got on the brakes. And thats when he switched lanes, spead up some more to get by my window and yell dick. What the hell did I do wrong?

Why did you speed up? If I am doing the speed limit and there isn't a lane to move into (to the right) then my ass would of stayed right there. If someone gets on my ass to begin with, makes me slow down.

I was in my Mustang along time ago in the middle lane ( 3 lanes) and there were NO cars around as it was about 2am. This car speeds up and gets RIGHT on my ass. I slowed down. I ended up slowing to 10mph, yes 10! in first gear. Still on my ass for a few minutes then he tries to pass me. I'm already pissed off at this point so I punched it and got in front of him and slowed again.
Course I had BAD road rage then.

And also. I never slow down or brake check the tailgater. That just irrates the driver behind you more. If they are already impatient/ aggrevated, why aggrvate them more? You dont know what the other person is capable of, their level of road rage, or what they might do. Like someone already mentioned. It can worsen the problem. I either give them the lane to pass or hall ass. The road is not a place to get even. Your ego is not worth your car or more important your life.

Theyd have to chase me and play catch up first. Thats better then slowing down or brake checking them. And a hell lot better then some riders who punch mirrors and brake windows.

The other person may not give a damn and run right up in your ass. I dont want to get rammed. And also if you are crazy or have road rage you better be ready and willing to top the other person who may be like minded.

JUST THE OTHER NIGHT... 1:30AM GROCERY RUN. Some fool in a BIG suv is tail'n me. Can't be a cop... I'm doing 25/in 25. Gets closer and closer...3 blks later... he's about 15' off. I'm think'n splash and dash... I'm look'n for a way out. Since he's SO close, I'm not going to just pull over and trust him to go by. Got a bag, on the left bar... tar snakes and really lousy street surface, on side st. escapes. and NO ONE else out. I'm already, in fight or flite... and gonna have to do something...
SO... bang 1st ... front end, 3" off...absolutly perfect clutch feed... leave him for dead, instantly a block ahead, at 80mph/ in 25...clutch. check mirror, he's way back there... look forward again to look for a turn/traffic... mirror again... and it's a scene from "close encounters of the 3rd kind"...grill lights!!!!!

On a bike is entirely different then in a car. In a car I wouldn't break check someone in fear they aren't paying attention and rear-end me however I would probaly slow down and show them they are being an ass.
On a bike... def dont break check them. People are ignorant, and unfortunatley because of some ass hole riders who cut off vehicles and weave in and out of traffic dangerously, some cars are reluctant towards riders and ride there ass...:sad

There probaly is no right answer here, everyone will do what they please, but all I am saying is be safe:cheers
