Well, the ninja I got (86 ZX1000) is destined for the streetfighter life.
It's got no plastics aside from the upper fairing. Which is really only there to hold the headlight.
It's got no instruments yet (apparently the law thinks I need a speedo).

The bottom of the subframe has been hacked off. I was thinking of cutting it and making it angle up right behind the rear seat. That should be fun.

Does anyone here have a relatively inexpensive headlight assembly I could buy or trade for?
I want to get this fairing off (it's half falling off anyway) so I need a headlight bucket or something I can mount up.

Anyone got anything lying around I may be able to use?
I have some money and a bunch of other crap I could trade for it.

You can use a headlight like this: e-bay streetfighter headlight (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2423839108&category=10 534&rd=1) same guy has this: headlight housing assembly (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2423982711&category=10 534&rd=1) both could be attached using brackets from Lockhart Phillips. I used those brackest to mount this fairing on my 88 'fighter from AirTech that was made for a Buell. I still the fairing on a shelf in the garage.
