i''ve been looking to get a gsxr 750 ,firstly i didnt want to buy a 2000 model because of the 2nd gear issue ,so i looked at a 2001 model but a lot of these are late registered 2000 models !! gsxr 750y

the K1's that i have found are going for like £5995 and the K2's are like £6,300 http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

so i've looked at buying new because there isnt a massive price difference...best price i've had is from Fowlers for £6699 OTR uk model

does anyone know of anywhere that has a better price ???

This is gonna be a bit of a dumb question, but how can u tell if it's a real 2001 model or a late 2000 ? Does it state in the log book the actual bike code ? or on the frame number or something. I'm looking to get a new gen 750 this winter or early next yr wanna go new, but if I see a good used ( and save a few quid) I'll go for it
