morrisr 07-12-2003, 11:59 PM Nice bike! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
SVBoy 07-13-2003, 07:33 PM Finally got the lowers man. I like the contours on that.
SmilesJer 07-16-2003, 11:48 PM I like it better than the naked look, personally ... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Bens2WhlGrl 08-17-2003, 07:46 PM since you put on your lowers, have you been running hotter?

Well... we took a 2x600 mile trip in 80+ degrees F , riding two up with tank and saddle bags - and the temp. light didn't turn on, so... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I can only recommend the HammerIt lower http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/banana.gif The Suzuki lower looks like crap, IMO. It doesn't go far enough back and the vents look totally out of place, more like something from a Suzuki RF http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/plthumbsdown.gif On top of that, the HammerIts are made from carbon-reinforced fibre glass, the Suzukis are plastic and even more expensive (at least here in Denmark, even with postage from South Africa, customs and taxes http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/banana.gif)

kippie 08-18-2003, 03:30 AM "Something from a Suzuki RF"... ouch SVS, that hurts, I cut my teeth on a RF 900 a couple years ago, my first sportbike.
I do agree, the Suzuki lowers do liik like an afterthought.
How 'bout you post the pics of the better half modeling the *ahem* bike.

Bens2WhlGrl 08-18-2003, 09:47 AM I actually already emailed Oz Osbourne at Hammerit and he quoted me 322.00 to my door in Georgia. (at todays exchange rate) I hate that it takes 4-6 weeks to get it though. I agree with you both, I am not a fan of the Suzuki lowers...does not fit the uppers "look" at all. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/plthumbsdown.gif Were you pleased with your service from them? How long after you paid, did it take to get it to you?

Hey, no offence http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I have nothing against RFs - they were pretty cool with those Ferrari F40-look vents http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
But an RF lower with an SV upper... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/plthumbsdown.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/plthumbsdown.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/plthumbsdown.gif
Hmm - I have posted pics of my better half with the bike before... Should I do it again? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Oz is cool http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif He's also a member on GdC, if you don't know. Their service is great and the lower was here after only about 14 days http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif (and it's not like Denmark is near South Africa either... although postage is somewhat cheaper) And they even have to make it first http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Hi there.
The 4-6 week period is to cover us in the case of a full kit being ordered. We manufacture on order to insure the highest quality. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Instead of manufacturing mass quantities and then letting them lie around getting damaged and scratched. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif
In your case for a lower the production should take longest 2 weeks and then 10-14 working days for delivery. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
