Im looking to remove my rear foot peg brackets on my 03 1000, is there an aftermarket bracket to support the pipe? Where can I find one or will I have to fabricate one, if so does any one have a pattern to go from?
Thanks....

Harris makes them, as well as Graves and LP.

Go to kneedraggers.com and check out their LP Exhaust accessories (its in the exhaust category). They have a carbon fiber hanger and a titanium hanger. I got the titatnium hanger from them in about a week. The descriptions don't list a part for the 1000, but they're the same.

WARNING!!! The LP carbon fiber bracket will lift your pipe (the exhaust, you pervert). I tried one after my LP Ti bracket broke. It pulled my Akra up high enough to make the mid-pipe contact the frame. Try Harris or another reputable firm.

I made mine and my wifes out of some flat aluminum (old sign). free except for some paint. And it gave me something to do for a few hours. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
