Hej lads and lady's http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I'm thinking of ordering a full muzzy system in the states.
Does any one have experience with muzzy under they're gsx-r ? good ? bad ? why ? how about performance ? etc. etc.
I've seen 2 full muzzy systems on kawa's (zzr1100 and zrx1200) and it looks good, nice sound, and the performance increase is incredible.
Please advise http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Congrads on yer new bikey http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Muzzy's are ok but the quality of them has been going down in the past. I personally would reccomend Yosh, Akrapovic, Arrow, Devil or even Micron if you can get them in Europe.
I would also say get some frame sliders and swingarm sliders first. They are a cheap mod and you should not be without them IMO.
Oh don't forget you will need to get a jetkit for a full system http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have a SS muzzy full race system on my gixxer, very good quality with aluminum canister, louder then most exhausts as well, i have had this system on the bike for around 5 yrs now with no probs at all, i already had it on the bike when i bought it from someone else, so i cant comment on power gains. But they were up there with akropovic, yoshi, arrow etc, as Jon says, there not as good as they use to be.
tihs is my system on the gixxer (it is a muzzy can as well, but when bike fell over the muzzy plate fell off too)
here is a link since i forgot the image coding and proxy here wont let me select image link http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

All the exhausts you name i can get here in Europe, but micron is not that good, and the others are all nice but every one has them. And besides that the price of a titanium muzzy is much much more interesting.
There will be a full kit with a different air filter if the system is installed http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
What are frame sliders and swingarm sliders ? is that those carbon protectors ?

These are frame sliders
http://www.parts411.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=9&Product_ID=17634&CATID=20
They basically mount to your engine mounting bolt and stick out beyond the fairings. If you go down they protect the frame and fairings.
The swingarm sliders are pretty much the same thing but screw into your swingarm spool whole and protect the swingarm in case of going down http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
