i have a 02 750 that is a naked streetfighter style bike, i have most of the wiring harness in the headlight bucket. i want to connect a small led light i bought at radioshack to the wire harness so that it will come on when the fuel is getting low. what wires in the harness do i have to tap into? thanks

on my 04 it looks like the wire that controls the LED on the console is black with a green tracer. It runs into the upper harness that runs into the speedo. That wire may be different on your bike. There are usualy 3 wires comming out of the Fuel Pump plug. One of them will be to the relay for power, and one will be a ground. The other is the warning LED light signal. If you can find which one gets constant power when you turn the key and which is the ground you can narrow it down that way.

I am pretty sure at least by the diagrams thats how it works.
