for those of you who do not know... you can make a donation to the site and recieve a red r next to your name which will allow you to post forsale items, enter certain forums that arent open to non- r members, but most importantly you will help to keep this site running. no donation is too small, although in order to have access to the forsale forum it needs to be at least 10 bucks. you can send any donation to admin@gixxer.com through paypal. if you dont have a paypal account you can set one up at www.paypal.com (http://www.paypal.com) and all you need is a credit card or bank account. and you will even get 5 bucks for signing up. just be sure to include your member # and screen name when donating so we know who you are.

well steve, even if you cant benefit directly maybe you have family here that could receive a prize for you and ship it out that way. 10 bucks really isnt much. even as an admin i donate at least 10 bucks a year to this place (if not more) just because its well worth the information i get on here. just think about how much money you have saved by finding the best deal on something, possibly taking your bike to a dealer for a problem, but you found the solution on here, friends you make, etc... etc... at least in my eyes, for anyone who spends a decent amount of time on here how could you not part with $10 to help out this place. if you can afford a $10,000 bike and all the goodies im sure you(and i dont mean you directy its a general term) do something to help out gixxer.com. but im glad someone replied. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

i'm in the same boat guys being o/s and all and whats more we have the equivalent to the asian peso down here so whats $10 to you guys is like a months rent down here... well thats maybe a slight exageration but you get my meaning... maybe some exhange/relative local pricing would help???

I just got my R and here’s my reasoning/justification:

I have gained LOTS & LOTS of useful information from this site and probably saved a shit-load of money on bike repairs and mods as a result of GIXXER.com. I pay $25 a year for a subscription to Motor Cyclist magazine and don’t get 1/4th of the pleasure/content GIXXER-specific from that subscription. In my mind, my donation to GIXXER.com has already paid for itself several times over and I want to support it’s longevity and existence. You do have to think about it though – if every swinging-dick on this site donated at least $5 or $10, Mr. GIXXER would be ecstatic and there would be PLENTY of revenue for kick-ass enhancements to the site.
