Hi people,

We tried this a while ago mate. My advice is to save yourself the hassle and forget it.

In the last planned meet-up loads posted and sounded well keen but in the end when it actually happened. Two guys showed up. Me and RepulsioN. Fuckin joke. Me and Jay were well pissed. Jay rode like 300 miles each way as well.

I've been on a local forum in the Uk just recently and i've had a couple of meet ups/ride outs with them. They show up when they say they will.

At least me and jay still got pissed.

This is my opinion...........if you try to arrange a one off meet with a load of people you don't know maybe at best 25% of the people who say they will go will actaully turn up. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wait.gif

The best idea, in my opinion, is to arrange to group at a meeting that is already scheduled. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/applause.gif

Brands WSB and similar are far too big events to do this, it would be best to simply post a thread asking if anyone is attending a particular BSB event, then if people are already going they will still go and will probably make the effort to mett at a particlar location maybe in the middle of the meet, this way you can say hello and can maybe become friends with a few GSXR guys maybe over several meetings.... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Hmm, how about the open day at Crescent Suzuki this Sunday (17th)? Obviously it favours people from the bottom half of the country but it is a top day out. I'll certainly be there along with a load of guys from gixercrew.co.uk
